Tickets go on sale

Tickets will be available for purchase at S&S before your dancer’s class.

Parent Meetings & Picture Day

A parent or responsible adult of all pre-dance, beginner, & intermediate students must attend a parent meeting. Costumes, tights, and accessories will be distributed on this day as long as your account balance is $0.

Dress Rehearsal Week

Dancers will run their dances on stage multiple times in costume. This will allow them to get used to the stage, lights, their costumes, and having costume and shoe changes.

doors open one hour before showtime

Saturday Morning:

Doors open 9:00am

Show starts at 10:00am

Saturday Evening:

Doors open 6:00pm

Show starts at 7:00pm

Sunday Evening:

Doors open 4:00pm

Show starts at 5:00pm

Seating:

S&S saves seats up front for Senior & Star families

Fire code prohibits anyone from sitting on the floor in front or in the aisles

Please try to not leave single seats open, filling in empty seats. Do not save seats for your dancers.

Hair & makeup tutorials

Costumes

All dancers will receive a pair of tights/socks and their costumes on picuture day

Do not wear your costume to or from dress rehearsals or recitals

Use dressing rooms to change in and out of costumes

Do Not eat or drink in costume

Do not wash costumes

REQUIRED Dance Shoes

please have required shoes purchased by the beginning of april

label all shoes with your dancer's name

place shoes under assigned chair for easy shoe changes

Dressing Rooms

Pre-dance:

Girls: Drivers education classroom in north hallway

Boys: bathroom in north hallway

Beginner:

Girls: Science classroom at the north end of the east hallway

Boys: bathroom in north hallway

Intermediate/advanced:

Girls: Science classroom across from stage doors in the east hallway

Boys: bathroom in east hallway

Backstage Assignments

Pre-dance & Beginner:

have an assigned seat in the back hallway

Act 1 - Dressed & in assigned seat 15 minutes before the show starts

Act 2 - Dressed & in assigned seat at intermission

Intermediate & Advanced:

will remain in their dressing room when not performing

Ready in dressing room/back hallway at the beginning of the act they are in

backstage etiquette

All dancers are expected to listen & follow the directions of their class attendant & all S&S staff

In the rare event that a dancer is crying or misbehaving, the dancer will not be put on stage to perform

only dancers, parents, & S&S staff are allowed backstage. Parents will be required to show their parent pass to gain access to the backstage area

Costume & shoe changes during the 1st or 2nd act will be handled by S&S staff

Auditorium etiquette

Dancers who are in act 2 only should sit in the auditorium with a parent during act 1

dancers must wear a cover up over their costume in the auditorium

No tap shoes in the auditorium

No photos or videos during the performance

PLEASE ONLY enter & exit the auditorium between dances only

Student Pick-up

dancers in ACt 1 can be picked up at intermission only

dancers in act 2 can be picked up at the

end of the show

Please take all belongings from under their chair when you pick them up

Parents will be required to show their parent pass to gain access to the backstage area
